West Wing Fantasies

Tonight is the series finale of West Wing. That hour a week where we can imagine a different world.

A more bitter sweet fantasy was broadcast last night in the opening sketch of SNL last night: An Oval Office Address from Al Gore. (The show was hosted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus with cameos by Jason Alexander and Jerry Seinfeld. If you didn't catch it last night- put it on your palatable re-runs list for this summer.)

Back in Sureality, while a 29% approval rating is hopeful (it's about time!), the power of the 29% is still strong. Why else would McCain be wasting his time (and moderate status) at "Liberty" "University"?

I guess the good thing about not having President Santos is that we don't have to endure First Lady Santos.

Interesting, I like the First Lady Santos character. JB's Mother does not.
