You thought I was going to say Tom Delay, didn’t you. Nope. Rep. Jim Welker has declared that he will not run again. For the sake of history, he was appointed by a Republican vacancy committee (he was the chair of the Larimer County Repubs.) 3 years ago and then won his election in 2004 when his competitor was killed on his bicycle by a motorist.
Rep. Welker then tried to replace himself with a golfing buddy. I guess you can add narcissist to that list.

too bad for us he didn't actually resign, just isn't running again.
Hopefully he will not be replaced by yet another fruit loop.
