Like a broken record....

Sen Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom...

I'm so glad you posted this because I didn't want to be the one to have to do it.

I'm putting my money on sex with a man in a bathroom stall. And yes, sex includes blow jobs (just in case President Clinton gets to judge this contest).

I just have a wide stance when I pee . . . my favorite excuse ever!

Oh, and one more thing . . . This statement "I'm not gay, and I have never been gay" reminds me of my favorite quote from coachhotspeedo (of Team Hot Pants fame) . . . "I'm not gay, I just love sucking cock". (Apologies to the parents that read this blog)

This morning they are showing clips from an interview with him in 1982 when he was "falsely accused of (sexually) harrassing some senate pages". I'd look for a link but I have a second interview this morning and am trying to find an outfit to wear. I hate my clothes.

How sad that
1) the response to being accused of soliciting sex in a bathroom is "I'm not gay" as if that's the main activity of gay people.

2) that being gay is still seen as a horrible social crime. GET OVER IT.

I'm less frustrated at his denial than I am at his acting like homosexuality is something to be ashamed of or embarrassed about. I was in SC this weekend, and someone in their 30's ACTUALLY said this "Oh my god I saw two MEN kissing on TV!!!" I thought perhaps I'd traveled back in time to 1950...even 1980. It gets worse, there were racial comments that I'd never hear, "women don't do that" comments, and environmental cracks that would make you cringe. As much fun as I had, I felt like I was doing serious time travel. It's great to be back home to the 21st century!
