I am not sure if it is the price at the pumps. Or perhaps it is a sign of the changing demographics of the neighborhood. This cinco has been virtually silent. Sure there are a few flags here and there but no honking during daylight hours and absolutely none after dark. The street closure supplies arrived on Thursday night but the cops haven't shut down the side streets once. There were more news helicopters this morning covering the I-25 wreck than we heard all weekend. I am sure in past years I have complained about the noise... usually while sitting on the front porch with a margarita in hand... but I am not prepared for silent cinco either.
