Ok folks, I have had a help tix open with blogger to deal with the side bar issue (where the contributor info, recent post, & links were displaying way, way at the bottom of the page) but being a free service, there is no SLA (Service Level Agreement or timeframe when they may respond to your request for help). I ended up just changing the template as a workaround to the issue. I picked a color scheme that goes with shitsngrins recent passion for orange. Hopefully no one hates it.
Long URL hyperlinks- that DHP & I post the most- seem to be part of our problem. I am going to try to get someone who knows html to see if we can either set them to wrap or display in a smaller font. In the meantime, please use the "tiny" font setting on long URLs. DHP- I republished your I Told You So... no censorship on content, only font size on your URL.
One thing to note with the new template- it does not include a recent links list in the sidebar. (If I have another boring conf call this week- I will try to create one. UPDATE: Recent Post has been added.) In our first template this was a quick way to navigate to the Permalink (the link back to a specific post on the blog). You will notice a hyperlink "#" to the left of "posted by..." now. UPDATE: This hyperlink now reads "Permalink". You can use that to display the Permalink. (For an example of Permalink use, see my email yesterday about Feb & Mar Craft Day that included a URL to post with Guinness's picture.)
UPDATE: Random Fun Fact has been added to the top of Sidebar. Best of... has been added mid Sidebar. Still looking into changing template column widths as requested by Infochef.

Yes, thank goodness we have our own personal techie. I didn't know enough to know that there was even a problem with the blog, so thanks for fixing it. Of course, if you had just made up (along with DHP) that there was a problem, we wouldn't have known the diff, you do know.

Ok, here's a request.
Can you make the left side bar smaller, increasing the blog space?
"Hi there,
Thanks for writing in. I visited your blog and you appear to have resolved the problem yourself. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns, though. Also, for future reference, please see our Blogger

The link says that long URLs & wide pictures may cause the issue.
