Colorado has become the 13th state to institute a state-wide smoking ban. The governor signed it a few moments ago. Perhaps DHP can finally stop killing herself and her friends with smoke. However, she wonders what will happen to her friends that are employed due to tobacco taxes? What a conundrum.
In other news, the Domestic Partner Referendum passed the House today with 37 yes votes (out of 65). Four Repubs. (White, McCluskey, Whitwer, and Larson) voted with most of the Dems. Rights of Non-Smokers and Gay People won out today. Woo Hoo!
