Just thinking of some pirate party theme ideas and figured you'd all want to get your own
pirate names
and you'll probably want to get your own website translater, and find out about International Talk Like a Pirate Day in September.
Here's mine:
My pirate name is:
Black Bess Flint
Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!
Get your own pirate name from fidius.org.

You really MUST try the website translator, even in 'quick' mode.
Back up- Are you having a party- pirate themed or otherwise? I know I have been MIA for most of the last 2 weeks but I am confused!
I'm volunteering on a conference that wants to do some entertainment with a pirate theme.
You know me better than to think I'd have a party. Heck, I can't even get the ham-thing together. Thank goodness for Craft Day--it's my only party!
Dread Pirate Vane
Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!
And have you tried t' website translator; it tickled me fancy. (ARRRRR!)
This is all I get when I try to translate: "Warning: file_get_contents(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known in /home/paladinz/www/03q3/misc/pirate_translator/pirate_parser.php on line 10" Is an IT Captian is at the sails?
Try the 'quick' version is my only non-techie suggestion.
