The Internet Makes My Head Hurt

Okay, I think this could mean something, but I'm not sure what.

Frappr: This site seems to map like-minded groups of people. Why, I'm not sure, but I'm open to suggestions.

Take, for example, the Jones Soda site. Why do I care who drinks Jones Soda never mind where they live?? But there's something intrinsically cool about it. I guess maybe someone like Free Bird Sis could tell us all about MySpace and then we could really get with the program.

I'm all for maps, and as a disclaimer, I ran across this innocently while trying to determine the best internet tool for an ongoing discussion aka 'learning circle'.
