Thanks for the heads up - can't wait to hear Sen. Obama in person!
Please note the change--it's at LoDo; tickets given out beginning at 11. (In case you had nothing else to do tomorrow.)
Do you have any more info on Edwards at the capitol? Such as where and if anyone can attend?
GOTV Unity Rally for Colorado State and Local Democratic Candidates
Featuring: Former Senator John Edwards
Thursday, Oct 26 from 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM
West steps of the Colorado State Capital
Denver, CO
Oh no! I missed Barack Obama - got stuck in a mediation.... ugh.
(On a completely unrelated note, I believe the Gilmore Girls have jumped the shark. Closing scene tonight almost made me barf, with Rory Lorelei & Christopher driving in the car with oldies muzak on the radio.
Poor poor beautiful scruffy Luke.)
...Again, anyone make it to Sen Obama's appearance?
The Gilmore Girls have always been really, really, sappy. That is why I watch it, for my weekly dose of syrup.
I have been traveling this week & have yet to see Gilmore Girls. It's on my Tivo waiting. I hear we might have snow day worthy weather tommorrow. I wonder if I can fake a blizzard in the hall b/w my bedroom and office?
B.O. (that's apparently how he signs his name, at least under pressure to sign 350 books before off to his 2:30) spoke for approximately 3 minutes. He had not difficulty uttering complete sentences or pronouncing words.
This qualifies him as highly intelligent in the political arena.
Me and 1000 of my closest sardines weighed down floor two of the TC, awaiting his arrival. I heard, but did not see, his words.
I also gave him $26 of my dollars, and wondered--aren't we already paying the Senator from Illinois adequate tax dollars for the rest of his life? I want one of those jobs!
