Federal Excise Tax Tip

Although you may already not be paying this tax as a protest,
if you are looking for an excellent procrastination tool and would like
to manually calculate the tax refund you are due on long-distance and
bundled (e.g. cell or measured service) phone services
--presuming you have many of your bills going back to 2003,
let me know and I will gladly share my spreadsheet version of IRS Form
8913 with you.

I was able to claim twice the standard deduction and feel that my hour or
so of investigation and calculation was worth the extra $30 I saved.
