These are the 2 (yes, the Ref. J legislative solution wasn't enough, so we have Amendment 39, too) so-called '65% solutions' for mandating how school districts spend their money on 'classroom expenditures.' Be wary of the list of allowable expenses...did you have a school nurse, a bus driver, cafeteria ladies (not to mention a kitchen--but hey we probably don't need that anymore either with fast food courts and centralized food prep), or playground equipment (oops, I forgot, no time for play--got to brush up on those CSAP questions!) when you were in school?

Exactly 3 districts in 2004-05 did not comply with the proposed provisions of Ref. J. Under 10% of the districts didn't comply with 39's. So glad we can be concerned about the majority here.
