Things to note when planning your Saturday....


This Saturday, April 28, 2007:
9am - 3pm, Denver Digs tree sale in Washington (Post) Park
9am- ?, March of Dimes Walk in Civic Center Park will require street closures

Next Saturday, May 5, 2007:
Cinco or the day each year I am most glad to live on "the other side" of Federal
Early Farmers Markets open including Cherry Creek and South West Plaza
Free First Saturday @ Denver Art Museum (only First Saturdays are free now)

Other Spring/Summer Saturday Activities:
Ball Park Flea Market in LoDo is the 3rd Saturday of the month. Next Date: May 19th.
Stapleton's Sweet William Market is the last Saturday of the month. Next Date: May 26th.

Update: Not on a Saturday but upcoming event(s) for the PBS Food Show Fans: Chef Jacques Pepin visits Denver May 14 & 15. Also in the Savory Spice Shop eNewsletter, they have added a Recipe section on their website.

Next Saturday, May 5--free treecycle mulch at Havana/Smith Rd. 8-3, no charge & this site will load trailers & trucks with front-end loader. Other dig-your-own sites at denvergov.org/denverrecycles

holy crap - i missed the Farmers Market note! I love riding my bike to the farmers market in cherry creek.

Also, not only are the free days at the DAM limited to the First Saturday of each month, I think I heard somewhere that its the first several hundred coloradans on the First Saturday of each month. I understand (but still find it frustrating) as one of my dear friends just got downsized out of the image rights department.
