What health care crisis?

In my hotel room earlier this week, I watched the morning news shows covering the woman who died after calling 911 from the ER. What amazed me is I didn't hear a damn one of them mention that overcrowded ERs are a direct result of the health care crisis in this country. After the blondes shared outrage over the tone of the 911 operator, they jumped right to Law & Order clips featuring Fred-enstien Thompson.

And don't even get me started about "Amnesty". That deserves it's own rant posting.

I am glad to be back home to local news with weather, traffic, & dog pictures on the 2s .

Heard an interview with Michael Moore on his new movie on the health care crisis (Sicko) with Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! this morning.

I'll go see it when it comes to the Mayan and I can have a cocktail while lamenting the fact I don't live in Sweden or Canada. Anyone want to join me?

The lines were too long for F-911 at the mayan & so we had to go to the burbs- outside of landmark agreement zone but bring you own flask.

I have officially banned the Mayan. I think they had to start serving liquor so you could acutally get through a movie in those painfully uncomfortable seats. I have actually been thinking that we haven't updated our On Notice and Dead to Us lists in a while. I nominate The Mayan for On Notice.

911 from the ER???? Crazy world...crazier that we keep hearing about Paris Hilton and not this...we're a bunch of damned ostriches when it comes to health care. But no thanks on living in Sweden...from what I understand, care may be available equally, but it's equally bad. I have a longer rant on this one...I'll post when I have a chance...
