A new Real D 3D movie (Monster House) and a highly treasured shared day off found Jeepboy & I in Texlahoma, CO on Monday.
We are pleased to present a Best of Texlahoma award to Yard House. We enjoyed 1/2 price appetizer that were so good- we would have paid full price. The jerk wings were what we expected at 8 Rivers. JB was thrilled by the beer selection which compares to Denver fav Falling Rock Tap House. I enjoyed the $5 HH Martinis- a wide variety of refreshing options. The air conditioning was cranked & the service was above par. And it is in perfect walking distance to the movies allowing for plenty of time to sober up before driving back to Denver-- avoiding the fate of Pete Coors or crazy Mel Gibson.
The true test will be the return trip.
Another wonderful discovery during our outing: mark your calendars for The Nightmare Before Christmas on Real D in late October! Yahoo!

OF COURSE IT IS A CHAIN!! It is Texlahoma!! They don't have non-chain anything in Texlahoma. That is really what defines Texlahoma- it's non-uniqueness.
